There may have been a brief incident which caused the chapter to close briefly in 1904. Since the Trinity campus is so close to Wesleyan, the chapter was installation at a hotel in the Gildersleeve section of Portland, Conn., which was hosted by the Alpha Chapter. Driven from the society in 1913-16 Interfraternity Conflict. The Gamma Gamma chapter survived well enough on its own, and returned to participate in the national for one year in 1919. The last known record of the chapter is in 1930.
